Here’s to 25 🎉

After living all my years being careful and not making mistakes, I have come to realise I missed out on a lot of things and ended up making so many mistakes. The first wrong step I took was to believe I could actually make a good decision at all times. No one does that. No one grows by that. After the first wrong step, every other step became affected. So I apologise to myself. And I walk towards a change. It’s not going to happen in a blink. Occasionally I’ll be caught in the web on my past decisions. Sometimes the life I created for myself and have been accustomed to will resurface. But I’ll remain conscious and make amends. After all, new growth and goals require different habits. I vote freedom and spontaneity. Because in the end, what truly is living without breaking life’s rules and making yours? Happy 25th birthday to me. It’s the end of an era, the start of a new age.

  7. My friend, fear not mistakes or you will live a boring and uneventful life with no enjoyment of real triumph. Instead embrace failure as part of the journey to learning new skills.
    I suggest you take a moment to read Ted Roosevelt “It’s Not the Critic that counts”. – a famous excerpt from a speech that will take you a few moments.

  32. Oh my gosh, you are only 25? Good grief, you speak with the wisdom of someone much older. But I see from your gorgeous photos that you are indeed, young–and beautiful. (I always like to imagine what it is like to wake up each morning with a beautiful face staring back in the mirror. But enuff of that. I also have lived long enough to know that we rarely see our own beauty.) I wish you many more years of exploration. You’re right. You can’t win with every decision, but sometimes your mistakes lead you down interesting paths that you’d never have discovered without that mistake. 💓
